Freedom from fried food

This is a blog post about me trying to change my life. One item at a time.

I gave up fried food for lent. I made a lot of mistakes. Here's a summary:

Day 1. Tortilla chips.
Day 8. Kettle fried potato chips.
Day 9. Fried tofu, spring roll.
Day 29. Fried green tomatoes.
Day 38. Donuts.

Day 41 (After Easter): Fries, wings :D

Overall it was a good experience. I more or less stopped experiencing cravings after a week and a half, and I learned about setting limits on myself.

For 30 days starting from today (4/12/12) I will try to give up sugar, which I love.
